Eric Kersten

As captain of his winning team, Eric embodies our company. He deals mainly with the broad outline and less and less with the field game, even though that is where his roots are. And, as befits a captain, he is the contact person, diplomat and motivator all in one: the ‘organizing connection’ in the flesh!

Eric practises sports regularly (at the strangest times) and is a huge fan of the band Toto. You might wonder why, but please don’t ask him personally, because he will only be too happy to share his truly encyclopaedic knowledge of this American band with you.

Jacqueline Hoeks

As project coordinator, Jacqueline is the linchpin of our events. From budget, price arrangements and schedule to supplier contracts and the recruitment of volunteers: it all falls under her responsibility. Her most important qualities are her calmness, her ability to maintain overview and her drive to get the quality and look & feel of each event at the highest level.

Jacqueline’s biggest challenge? That something always goes wrong somewhere when organising an event. Finding a good solution to that problem is all the exercise she needs.

Hanny Vloet

Do you have any questions about the financial/administrative side of your event? Thanks to Hanny, we can answer them immediately. This administrative assistant processes our own financial records in AFAS (indeed, the company that sponsors the Tennis Classics), but she also takes care of the administrative work concerning subsidy applications and makes sure that the administrative settlement of each event is correct to the last digit.

Hanny has numerous sporting hobbies: she plays tennis, cycles and enjoys going for a walk. She also likes to play music and enjoy the good things in life.

Manouk van den Elzen

How can you be certain that everything ‘behind the scenes’ of your event is 100% accurate? Very simple: by letting Manouk handle it. This office manager is an all-rounder. That is why we and our clients like to rely on this versatile jack-of-all-trades: she is the ideal back office for any type of event. 

Manouk was once an entrepreneur herself, which means she understands like no other what client-oriented working means. She works hard, which she compensates for with her hobbies: yoga, shopping and fun activities with friends.

Luc Herberichs

Luc (1986) has been working since 2009 in the sports and event branch; he started his career as a Marketing & Sales representative for Canyon Bicycles. From 2011 he entered the event business as a marketer for Neptunus, which is a firm specialized in event solutions (tents) and temporary buildings. Luc was part of their team responsible for all marketing activities.

He finds his challenge in converting creative concepts at the drawing board into actual projects: planning, cooperation and execution. Luc makes sure he never forgets to include the fun factor and to think out of the box: ‘it's more fun to be a pirate than to join the navy’

Endurance sport, staying on top of his breath, whether it’s running or on his bike. But also at other sports Luc is ready to be challenged. His 2016 challenge is the Berlin Marathon. He approaches his work as project manager the same way he does his sports.

Lea van Breukelen

From a young age, Lea has been actively and passively involved in sports. With great pleasure she is on the tennis court in the summer, in the winter she exchanges her tennis racket for a futsal. Lea is also a reasonably fanatic runner and ran the Rotterdam marathon in 2016 and 2018.

After an internship at the Olympic Stadium, Lea knew that she would like to stay active in the sports world. During her studies in sports management at the International Olympic Academy, Lea worked on a project basis for the International Paralympic Committee in the run-up to the Paralympic Games in Sochi. After working at Amstelpark Tennis Academy for more than 2,5 years, Lea is now responsible for Marketing & Communication at The Organizing Connection B.V.

Sanne Vandewall

As office manager Sanne is completely at her place at The Organizing Connection. Sanne ensures that her colleagues only have to focus on their core business and that all preconditions are correct. This function is perfectly suited to her, because Sanne is not sitting still in her spare time. The Mont Ventoux, the Passo dello Stelvio or the Pyrenees? Sanne just keeps on pedaling and only stops when she has reached the finish.

Rein Verweijen

Rein studied journalism in Tilburg and communication sciences in Leuven. Through internships as sports journalist at Dutch newspaper De Gelderlander and at football club PSV, he took his first steps in the professional sports world.

As marketing and communication employee at The Organizing Connection, he is telling the story of TOC and our events to different audiences. Whether it is via a post on Instagram or with an extensive interview or report on one of the event websites.
